This is a workshop that you are sure to enjoy. It will be both experimental and constructively stimulating. You will produce a painting that will be even surprise yourself at the end. What I hope you will grasp through these two days besides having fun will be, learning ways of capturing the viewer’s attention and directing their eyes to your focal point or points within your paintings. At the start of each painting stepping out of the routine to gain greater visual impact within our work should be our desire. You will also learn that like music, harmony and tension within our art will change a mediocre painting into a successful one.
Cezanne stated, “When paintings are done right, harmony appears by itself. The more numerous and varied they are, the more the effect is obtained and agreeable to the eye”.
